I went for la bodega the 2nd time last Saturday with the old bunch of high school friends ( Daphi, Jenni, Alli, Lyd and Lin Lin) and it was actually a pretty enjoyable experience. I did not blog about the 1st time i was there eventhough initially i was super hyped to go there because i was disappointed with the outcome of our orders.

So anyway, at 645 the entourage arrived at my house. And all six of us were packed into a Wira( it wasn't that bad really. except maybe for alli's butt) And we headed down to Bangsar with Jenni driving. Reached around close to seven i guess. I am not sure since i didnt check the time. And parking in Bangsar apparently is hard to find even at a normal hour minus the drinking ppl. Imagine the havock when the party really begins. I seriously pity the ppl living in Bangsar. Anyways, we finally found a parking somewhere. Everything is a walking distance so we just grabed the next car park we could find. And it was off food hunting. Since La bodega was just one of the many options. There were a few viable restaurant. We almost ended up in a lebanese restaurant which was suppose to have belly dancing, but since it might be spicy and alli's throat wasn't doing too well we decided to pass. Maybe next time. I am always game for something new. So La bodega it was.

I think the question that some of u ppl might be asking is why on earth did i decide to go back there then. The reason is actually that i thought they had a different menu for their bar & restaurant and their deli outlet which is just situated next to each other. Well i found out otherwise. But that they have a seperate menu for main dishes other than paella. But alas we did not go for that. Instead we still ordered the paella which had me dissapointed the 1st time around. And we also got some entrees which we had the waitress recomend. We had the button muchroom sauted with garlic and something i think and some lamb meatballs. And we had that with a basket of very nice soft french bread i think. The bread with the sauce was heavenly. And if u were to eat there and dont want the main meal i think u can get full by having an entree with bread. Which would cost u maybe less than rm 10 minus drinks? . But the bread is for the whole table la. I actually debated whether to order alcoholic drinks since  i wasnt sure if they were going drinking later. But i couldn't resist the call of my chardonnay which i really missed for sometime. That set me back rm 16 but was definitely worth it since the wine was pretty smooth. And finally the paella came and lo and behold. It looks absolutely fabulous with clams and prawns and mussels. filling the pan. It wasn't that measily 3 mussles 3 prawn  thing that i had the last time we went.

Well first paper over. And i am just feeling veru surreal. I have no idea what hit me. Sigh.

Anyway came across this and it seems like it was meant to be a joke. But either way, what with all the crap that has been going on that has anything to do with religions, I dont think anyone should be coming up with something like this. It doesnt really help with the situation. Perhaps some of you will say " Come on, making jokes are suppose to lighten the situation".

The more i read the more i can see that it is some dumb joke but, As many as there are peope who are able to figure it is a stupid joke there will be just as much or even more that might take it the wrong way.

remember me? I am the owner of this blog . Anyway, I have been procrastinating as usual. Plus didn't want to give myself an excuse to get stuck in front of the comp for too long for the need to study. But i guess I have to drop by to at least say something before october ends, or this would be like Oon-Ee's monthly entry :p.

Exam starts this 27th. A few more days to go but i am not feeling the anxiety that i am suppose to feel. So i am not sure how good that is. I hate feeling stressed, but i think i need it. Anyway exams end on the 2nd nov and i start my 4 months long industrial training on the 9th. So wow wee. Ya i finally got confirmed today. A much awaited but slightly uninvited news, since it means i have no time to have fun or rest this hols, but i will at least have cash. Something which i really need.

Anyway for ur viewing pleasure, or maybe not. This is another sky shot. Don't ask me why i am so obssessed with the sky. I just like the colors and cloud formations. If any guys ask, i would be pretty impressed if you brought me out on a picnic while we laid on our backs watching clouds. Just make sure the day isn't scorching hot. But them again if it was, there wouldn't be much of a cloud formation to watch would it

Time to start studying again. But this post has nothing to do with that except for the fact that i got restless while studying and so decided to come online and one thing led to another and i ended up making this .....

Anyway i read an article about yasmin yusoff ( i am not sure if that is her name exactly). Buy i seriuosly adore all the ads that she produces... haven't got to see any of her movies though. But that should be a story left to be told another day. For now i shall have to return to my books.  

Well i decided to blog eventhough i have nothing better to blog about really. I am just going through the motion in life. Yada yada. Actually i do have issues that i thought of blogging about but i just get lazy.

So the entry before this was just a picture entry. I still havent got the rest of the pics though. My thoughts of the ball? Well i am not too sure how i felt about it. It was just alright i guess. But the food was just pretty ordinary. The company could have been better *wink wink*. The performance was actually pretty blah. And there wasn't an after party. Sigh, sigh..... But not as if that wasn't really what everyone who had went to a ball hadn't expected and been telling me. Well i guess i had to do it, you know. I haven't really been to a ball. And i would like to at least have said i went once. But i guess now that i have. It isn't much difference than a stupid IU day we used to have in high school. They really should rethink this whole ball thing. It is kinda getting stale. Even with the theme and all it doesnt really reflects on the day's event. So what is the point of the theme. Perhaps they should go all out and really do some stuffs which are theme related and especially especially open the dance floor much earlier. They might even want to think of doing it ala HK movie style or maybe just movies style, where the people stand around chatting and sipping drinks and eatting hours de vours. might save a little cost and perhaps be more interactive. I dunno, maybe.  Anything is better than stupid chinese style dinner which reminds me of chinese weddings. Be creative people!!!

Anyway i was thinking of doing the going with a bunch of friends kind of thingy, and have a whole barrel of fun. But that didn't really work as planned. But its alright, i understand. Well i think if we went as the noisy bunch i should think we would have at least rocked things up a little. But u peeps are like way across the sea, so too bad. Then there is the option of going with a date. But too bad, that bombed too. But i do have doubts whether i might be disapointed even if he had been able to make it. Things just don't work out as great as u would hope it would.  But i think i shouldnt ask too much and just be glad that he offered  to be my date and actually meant it. Seriously, that offer came when i was pretty depressed and was like thinking, " pls just give me one thing to be happy about" and i guess i couldn't ask for more.

 Well more about that day. Wei sern was suppose to pick me up to the ball, but he came earlier to avoid the jam from his place to my place. So he waited for me while i put on make up and all. Was suppose to leave at 5 put started a little late. So only finished at 530. Thanks for the make-up btw Mich . But made not much diff anyway i guess coz we had to wait for Dom in uni. Luckily i was late or we would have had to wait longer.  So after Dom arrives we set off on our way to putrajaya, not really knowing the road too well. Dom was leading the way, and on and on we follow till somehow we reached this place which was absolutely breath taking. By that time it was already dark, and we were staring at this place which sort of looked like it came out of a metropolis of a movie where the buildings where all lited to the max.  But guess what, we over shot and ended up in cyber jaya.  Bummer. And on the way of finding our way out we bumped into another bunch of juniors which got lost as well. How ridiculous.  So a 3 car entourage proceeded to the putrajaya marriot and finally reached there 1 hr late, but still with time left before the event started. That is malaysian time for you.  And when we reached, we were eagerly ushered to meet a new friend Michelle, which surprise ! surprise! is no michelle at all, but a guy who decided it be fun to,partly  in the words of Rajiv," make balls shrink" well at least make Rajiv's balls shrink anyway. But he did make quite a pretty girl for a guy . And from there on wards i guess u can say everything is history.

Other note worthy thing is, laine's dress was really nice. In fact laine was absolutely gorgeous. Can beat that actress we used to say u looked like wei . And Cindy, muaha ha ha. Finally get to see her in formal gown. Shiok siul. Cindy sure totally blossomed into a HOT chick.  

 Wow look at the legth of my post. I guess once i start its hard for me to stop.  Well thats all for now. Toodles.
