ok it is already the third day after new yrs eve but i figure i want to post any way. This might have to count as the most memorable new yr so far i think ... well next to having to work on new yrs eve last yr.. but lets not go there coz i think that is a bad memory . Anyway i think i told this story too many time alr ... until it isnt funny any more. Anyway what happened was we didnt gett to go anyway for new yrs eve celebration so we decided to watch firework at suet's place
it is actually quite amazing to be able to watch fireworks from summit , sunway , kl and pj at the same time minus all the crowd. I am not a fan of crowds and besides to avoid being grabbed by assholes, now that is a bliss. Anyway here is the funny part. After all the fireworks we were walking back to suet li's place when i suddenly heard wierd sound coming fr the bushes. Me being me my instinct just kicked in and i just ran. I had no idea wat the hell it was. I ran before i think. Then when rae and suet saw me running they just totally made a dash for it. I dont think they knew what i was runningg from either. But just imagine how funny it was if some one would have found out none of the three of us know why we were running but ran anyway . When it hit me that it could be a dog, i was like.." wait a minute , if that was a dog and i am running then deep shit lah . sure chase me one." so i slowed down.But then i thought.." if it was chasing me then run faster lah!!" so i speed up lah . And if you think about it, Suet who was the last to start running actually ran and over took us to reach first although in the first place she didnt even know why she was running. And best of all when we turn back after running to safety we saw that the dog wsan't even chasing us but probably got frighten to death by seeing three lunatic girls dashing across the street running for their lives. madness. To top it all off suet lost her slippers in the rampage and we had to go back to find where it was . ha ha ha .

The reason why i blog so little lately is not because i don't have anything to blog about particularly, but that everytime i finally get myself to a comp whatever was on mt mind is already far far away.
And at this very moment that has just happened. Oh well that is as much as i can thnk of to say so far .... till i think of more things to add to this post cest la vie

I finally found a wine that i actually liked and could take more than a few sips. I tried a few, although i dont remember which.. but mostly i figure where australian wines. One was bin888 . Although there was merlot in it, which suppose to add a sweeter taste to the wine i still didn't quite like the taste . I felt it was too heavy. Surprisingly this one from france which i dunno what was its name wasnt one bit sweet at all and i liked it. And one more thing I am officially a converted cork collector....... which to this rae asked me " so how many do you have now" .. ke ke ke only one.... not any other corks lah .. those that looks nice. So anyone who drank a nice bottle of wine can help me collect some nice corks.

Besides that i just remembered what was one of the things that i was thinking about. Ha ha ah i just rememberd how i frightened cindy when i was sitting next to her and just started chuckling suddenly, without any reason. Well i realized that i havent been doing that for quite some time alr. The reason is because i havent have the time to think of all the thing s that made me chuckle. It is pretty sad actually. Although ke ke ke it is something good for the others. I dunno but sometimes it is nice to just sit there and remember funny stuffs that makes u chuckle. Now cest la vie.
Oh well i am just strange ....... but i love the way it is. And if any one has a prob with that ..... well like i give a damn.

Saw .this posted in a forum. The poor guy got beaten up so many times, I can't imagine how painful it is. They were hitting him as if he was not even a human . Sigh ... i just dont understand how ppl can be so brutal.

You know one thing about most grand mothers( most asian grandmothers that i know off anyway) that are at least 7 decades old are that they never seem to want to admit that they no longer know more than their kids or grand kids. Mine is no exception but not just that, she believes her knowledge of all things , including scientific knowledge to be above all others in the house. And one reason is that she read the newspaper more than us, just because the rest of us are busy working or... well STUDYING . But the most annoying excuse that almost all old ppl give is that "I have eaten more salt than have you eaten rice". If that is the case, everyone should start consuming a packet of salt everyday. I know its just an expression . But when it is used too often, it gets really irritating. I know sometimes their advice on ordinary life stuffs are pretty valueble. I wouldn't doubt that since they have lived for such a long time. But sometimes other advice are already not suitable. But the worst has to be when my grandma tried to play expert in science. There was once my dad and uncle brought her to singapore and they went to a famous fried rice restaurant. The owner or something came over and assured them that their fried rice was healthy because they store their rice in the refridgerator. And most ppl should know that bacteria finds it hard to multiply in cold temprature. But she insisted that the worst thing to do was to put rice in fridge because it encourages bacteria growth. No matter how i tried to explain she insisted that i was bullshitting and that she was right because she read it in the news paper. If thats the case bring out the gasoline and burn all science books and i think maybe the teachers with it too. You know what might as well burn down all the schools. Why waste money to go to school when a dollar and twenty will educate you much much more than a school or good books can.
Well cest la vie. Hope i wont turn out like that when i am old. I will definitely keep that in mind.
